acunic is the acoustic brand of Getzner Textil. It is rooted in textile know-how and driven by the ambition to rethink interior materials not only in functional terms, but also from a design perspective. The result is textile acoustic solutions for interior architecture and spatial design that integrate seamlessly into a wide range of concepts while meeting the highest technical standards.
Our Origins
Our roots lie in textile development and production. More than 200 years of company history also shape acunic – from an in-depth understanding of materials and processing to the question of how textile surfaces influence the perception of space.
As part of Getzner Textil, we draw on established production expertise and an environment in which quality, precision and reliability have played a central role since 1818.
How We Work
We work closely with interior architects and interior designers and see ourselves as a partner for precise, well-considered spatial solutions. The focus is not on a standardised product, but on understanding what a space truly needs and how acoustic requirements can be meaningfully translated into a coherent design concept.
Responsibility in Production
acunic is produced at Getzner Textil’s main site in Europe (Austria). Manufacturing takes place using energy‑efficient and resource‑conserving processes. Short supply chains, the conscious use of materials and long‑lasting quality are integral to our understanding of sustainable production.
